I want a 10-Series FR-S badly, even though it's kinda retarded

It's 3 grand more expensive for some (admittedly awesome) special paint, the HIDs off of the GT86, the same climate control system you get in the BR-Z, silver seat belts (SILVER SEAT BELTS!) and a bunch of really tacky glowing crap. Still, though, I want one. Bad. I have no idea why, really, since the only thing it adds that I actually want is that climate control system. And maybe the shift knob because the damn thing is solar powered and that is so stupid it's actually kinda awesome.

What the hell is wrong with me?

The solar shift knob is only for the automatic, I think. I only care for the headlights and the climate control, I hope they become options on later FR-S.

Nothing is wrong with that. I like climate control, but I wish the seat belts were red instead of silver.

Too bad there's no sunroof :(

Sometimes the release versions have a sunroof (I know some xA RS's do, even though it wasn't a regular option)

Its all cosmetic, no bonuses. If you wanted all that, why not just get the BRZ which was meant to be the premium model to begin with?

The FRS was and is the cheap, stripper model for those that want a cheap RWD car. Adding all this to it spoils its purpose and makes it even more redundant.

Test drove an FR-S today with my dad. Fantastic car. Salesman tried to pitch one of these to us, no dice. The color is quite nice and the keyless start and dual zone climate are nice, but if you want a toyobaru with a bunch of equipment, isn't that what the BRZ is for?
